The 2026 NZ Indian Hockey Championship will be held over King’s Birthday Weekend - 30th May to the 1st of June at the Twin Turfs in Palmerston North - hosted in conjunction with the Central Districts Indian Sports Club.
NZ Heritage Hockey will again be sending teams to the 2026 International Hockey Cup in Melbourne this year. The tournament will take place form the 30th of September to the 4th of October.
Look out for players from the NZISA in the teams as they take on a range of teams from across the world in this exciting tournament.

2025 NZ Heritage Hockey Women’s Team
The 2026 NZISA Golf Open will be played on the 31st of October at the Shandon Golf Course hosted by the Wellington Indian Sports Club.
Three divisions are available - First Division (for NZ Golf Affiliated Players), Second Division (individual for non-affiliated players) and Third Division (Ambrose)

The NZISA Cricket Tournament is set to return to Waikaraka Park in Auckland for another year on the weekend of the 3rd & 4th of January 2027.
8 teams from around the country will battle it out for the title with Pukekohe looking to defend their crown from the last tournament.
More information on the tournament will be made available as the year progresses.
2026 NZ Heritage Hockey Tournament
The NZISA will again be participating in the NZ Heritage Hockey Tournament. This years edition will be held at the National Hockey Centre in North Harbour over Easter Weekend, Friday the 3rd to Monday the 6th of April 2026.
Both Men’s and Women’s Teams will take on teams representing heritage from across the Pacific and Asia in an exciting four day tournament and would love your support.
If you can’t make it to the National Hockey Centre you can watch via Livestream on the NZ Heritage Hockey YouTube Channel. All games on Turf One will be streamed over the weekend.

The Christchurch Indian Sports Club is proud to be hosting the 2025 New Zealand Indian Golf Open on Sunday 19 October in Christchurch at the Russley Golf Club, one of New Zealand’s premier golf courses.
The par 72 championship golf course is set in beautiful parkland, and has recently been transformed with a complete redesign of the back nine by leading architect, Greg Turner.
CISC is welcoming all players (and lovers of a beautiful golf course) to the garden city in October. More details to come closer to the time.

The NZISA 60th Anniversary Celebration is to be held at Alexandra Park, Auckland on Saturday 25th November 2023. The evening will celebrate 60 years of NZISA and include the presentation of awards, speeches, and dinner including canapés and complimentary beverage on arrival.

The 2022 NZISA Golf Open will be hosted by the Central Districts Indian Sports Club (CDISC) on Saturday 24th September at the Dannevirke Golf Club (www.dannevirkegolfclub.co.nz).
After hosting this event in 2015, and having the highest number of ISC players ever to partake in a NZISA Golf Open, CDISC is looking forward to hosting all ISC players.

The 2022 NZISA Queen’s Birthday Tournament is to be held from Saturday 4th to Monday 6th June 2022 in Christchurch. The event will be hosted by the Christchurch Indian Sports Club.
QBT is NZISA’s premier event which showcases Indian hockey from its eight member clubs around New Zealand.

This will be the second year this event will be held after its great success in 2021 which was participated by NZ Indians, NZ Maori, NZ Pasifika, and Hockey NZ Development Network, in which the NZISA men’s were winners of their grade.
NZISA will again be entering a men’s and women’s squad and are looking for players for 2022. Players must be able to provide full commitment towards the tournament, be available from Thursday 14th April to Monday 18th April, and be match fit without injuries.
All players who are available to represent NZISA please contact NZIZA, or your local Indian Sports Club, by Monday 31st January at the latest.
