A new event has been added to the NZISA calendar to round out our events for 2026. The NZISA will host it’s inaugural badminton tournament on the 6th of December in Papakura, Auckland.
The tournament will be played as a doubles competition with both Women’s and Men’s teams competing throughout the day. Each team will take to the court at least three times during the day. The event is open to all members of the Indian community in New Zealand.
Venue: Counties Manakau Badminton Association Hall (Papakura Badminton Club)
Address: 41 Elliot Street, Papakura
Date/Time: Sunday the 6th of December.
Registration costs: $40 per team

The NZISA has chosen to add badminton to our range of because it is popular amongst the Indian community in New Zealand.
