As the Indian Community in New Zealand has diversified so have the sports that are being played. The NZISA Golf Open is open to all members of an affiliated Indian Sports Club. There are various grades to cater for players of varying ability:

Division One works on a Stableford scoring system with the club who has the highest score winning the NZISA Golf Trophy.
Division Two is for players who do not have a formal handicap and is competed on total number of strokes.
Division Three is an Ambrose competition which allows for those players who do not play regularly or who are new to the sport of golf.
