NEW NZISA LIFE MEMBERS

NZISA Life Membership

Suresh Wallabh and Chan Dullabh

At the NZISA 60th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday 25 November, NZISA bestowed the honour of Life Membership to our President, Suresh Wallabh and to our Secretary, Chan Dullabh, in recognition of the distinguished service they have provided NZISA.

Suresh Wallabh, of Pukekohe Indian Sports Club, has served NZISA for 17 years as a Representative Hockey Player, Delegate, Heritage Hockey Organiser and as NZISA President for the last 11 years.

Chan Dullabh, of North Harbour Indian Sports Club, has served NZISA for 19 years as a Delegate and as NZISA Secretary for the past 10 years.

Both recipients have been influential in the way NZISA has operated, in addition to navigating the last decade where in times such as Covid had halted events and meetings. Both have engaged with external organisations such as Hockey NZ, One Foundation, and Local Gecko Productions to bring our sportsmen, sportswomen, and our events to the forefront of the Indian sporting community, along with working within the community of our eight member clubs and their membership to host all NZISA events. We congratulate both gentlemen on receiving the well-deserved honour of becoming our newest Life Members.

The NZISA 60th Anniversary Celebration could not be held without the generous support from One Foundation Limited, photography from Local Gecko Productions, and the NZISA Anniversary Organising Committee.
